Never be a lazy blogger!

This is one mistake I see many newbie bloggers make. Mind you, your blog cannot go far if you continue to indulge in copyright activities. Only lazy bloggers indulge in copyright activities. Try as much as possible to be original in your contents. It helps you standout from the crowd.  Yes, news or information are not meant for just one person. Therefore, if you must post the same news or information that can found in another blogger's blog or on other websites you must ensure that you are presenting it strictly in your own words. No verbative copying, please!
Blogs that indulge in copy write activities find it very difficult getting approval from adsense and other 3rd party ad networks because copyright infringement is strictly against their policy.
So, therefore, make that effort to be original in your contents. Never follow the crowd. Go into that niche you have firm knowledge about and create powerful contents around it with ease. You are happier and more fulfilled when your posts are purely your handwork.

Some Nigerian Universities still worth patronizing

Most Nigerian parents now prefer to send their children abroad for university education because of fallen standards of educational system in the country. They lack thrust and confidence in what universities in the country have to offer their children. The issue of incessant strike actions by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which disrupts the entire school calendar and prolongs the duration of study of the students also contributed immensely to why parents take the decision to send their children abroad to school. More so, preference of foreign graduates to local graduates in the labour market also contributed to this mad rush for foreign education by Nigerians. The quest is so severe that Nigerian parents now go as low as sending the children to university in nearby Benin Republic. The population of Nigerians schooling in Benin Republic is quite alarming.
Never in the history of JAMB has it registered up to 1.5 million candidates for its UTME exercise. The late commencement of registration resulted in several irregularities. Many candidates are likely to miss their exam because up till now they are yet to know their exam centers. Probably it is part of JAMB’S game plan slash the number of candidates to its barest minimum because universities in the country can only admit a quarter of them. This therefore means the remaining three-quarter candidates would have to seek admission somewhere else, probably in other countries.
Despite the fallen standards of education in Nigeria coupled with the fact that no Nigerian university is occupying a good position in world ranking, some Nigerian universities are still worth patronizing. They are:

1. University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos state

2. Covenant University, Otta, Ogun state

3. Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Osun state

4. Babcock University, Iperu, Ogun state

5. University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo state

6. Nigeria American University, Yola Adamawa state

How to win as an affiliate promoter

What is Affiliate marketing? Affiliate marketing is simply referring people to check out particular products and when they make purchases as a result of your referrals, you earn commissions on the products.
Many people are interested in Affiliate promotions but do not know how to go about it. Here are the fundamentals of becoming a seasoned Affiliate marketer.
1. Set up your blog/website and identify with a niche you are very passionate about. Setting up a blog takes nothing because there are several free hosting domains such as blogger, wordpress, joomla, drupal e.t.c to get started with. But to be more professional, purchasing a hosted domain isn't a bad idea.

2. Register with an Affiliate program. There are quite a number of them like Amazon, Ebay, Commission junction, Clickbank, Shareasale, Ejunkie e.t.c as foreign Affiliate programs and Jumia, Konga, Dealdey, Kaymu, Jiji e.t.c as Nigerian Affiliate programs.

3. Select your referral products. Mind you, products must be related to your blog/website niche.

4. Generate banners or link codes for the products and paste it on your blog/website life page.

5. Make reviews of the products on your blog/website. Give a concise description of the products,
advantages of purchasing and using the products, testimonies of your very self using the product as well as your relationship with the companies of manufacture. That gives would be buyers the confidence to check out the products by clicking on the banners or links.

6. Continue to promote your reviews of the products on social media network platforms like facebook, twitter, linkedin, instagram, tagged e.t.c to attract buyers until you make sales. Most times, potential customers you meet on social media networks do not know what to do. So, you have to tell them what to do. Therefore, your product review must carry affiliate links like: click here to buy, buy now etc.

7. Earn commissions whenever sales are made on the products when quality visitors are referred to the products through the banners or links. Commissions are strictly base on purchases made on the products by the visitors.
It is worth noting that success with Affiliate marketing depends on the choice of products for referrals and the amount of compensations the companies are willing to pay as commissions. So always select products with high market demands from companies with good Affiliate marketing track record partnership.
