The act of faking ICT products

Counterfeiting has become a gigantic societal menace that has become very worrisome to many concerned individuals and organizations. Something has to be done urgently to save the situation. Nigerians no longer enjoy real value for their money. It has become so difficult to distinguish between original and fake products in the market.
Even marketers are not helping matters. They are just interested in making money whether the customers are satisfied or not, it is none of their business. They will even proclaim the counterfeit products as original just to make money.
This is the reason why some ICT companies are going the extra miles to protect their integrity by introducing anti-counterfeiting solution which detects the fake of their products on the spot. HP for instance has introduced mobile authentication service which detects fake HP products at the point of purchase.
Mobile Authentication gives an instant verification of original HP inks, cartridges and toners. It simply scans the QR code on the security label and quickly cross check if it is available on the HP website database.  Non availability of the QR code indicates that the product is fake.

The weak Google services

Despite the fact that about 90% of Google's services are first to none, there are some weak or should I say push over Google services like Blogspot and Google plus.
WordPress for instance has proved and continued to prove its superiority over Blogger. The ability of WordPress to accept plugins has made it favorite over Blogger. Google plus also is no where near Facebook, Twitter, etc. And Google seems to be doing nothing to meet up with its counterparts in these genre.
Google! What is going on? We user want to experience a better Blogger and Google plus services. Google please take note.

Why Google is referred to as the king of the internet

Sometimes, I wonder whether the empire called Google was built on meta-physical principles. Yes, because, all their products and services lead while others follow. Even android OS that came out yesterday has succeeded in pushing out all other phone OS to become the best ever developed phone operating system. The most affected by the birth of android is Blackberry. Blackberry went down since android came on board. Now, all windows executable programs have their android version. Is it Microsoft office, Adobe, Notepad, Firefox, Chrome or even Corel draw, they all have their android version downloadable free on Google play store.
Gmail, Adsense, Youtube, Feed burner, Google search engine, Google playplay store, Google chrome, etc, are all leaders in their respective genre. Google parades about the best programmers in the world and this contributed immensely to their acclaimed success. Also, not being too rigid and secretive helped the success of some of their products. Android for instance, became a huge success because it was opened up to the world. Just anybody can become an android programmer.

Today, people regard Google as the king of the internet. Not even Facebook, Yahoo or Amazon has an opposition to this.

Regulating online activities

The internet needs to be regulated. Google is trying its best to regulate the internet. But more work still needs to be done to keep the internet safe for everyone.
