3 effective ways of promoting your blog posts
- Write down the Meta Description
- Submit your post in Google Index
- Share your post in social media
- Upload your blog post as a PDF
If you slumber, your blog slumbers
Never start a blog if you know you are not really
prepared to keep the blog awake and alive through continuous publishing of
rich, informative, educative and entertaining contents. Before starting a blog,
you must have a clear picture of what you intend to achieve with the blog.
Spring into action and start one only when you discover an opening that needs to
be closed or a vacuum that needs to be filled. However, a firm knowledge,
understanding and passion is required on whatever niche you intend to use to
close the opening or fill the vacuum. Never enter a niche based on someone else’s
success in that niche. Finding yourself in an unfamiliar niche would eventually
lead to inconsistency until you get stock and can no longer proceed in
publishing contents related to the niche. Or, worst of all, you find yourself
going into similar niche sites to copy related contents.
When this happens, you can qualify yourself as
slumbering. And when you slumber, your blog slumbers. The consequence of this
is that it hits back on whatever traffic you have been able to attract to the
blog. Your traffic starts declining gradually until it is nothing to write home
about.
The success of any site has to do with the number of
traffic it can attract. A lot of hard work and effort is also required before a
considerable amount of traffic starts rolling in. This is the more reason why
you must choose a niche you are conversant with and can create powerful contents
around with ease. Your passion for the niche also helps surmount whatever
challenges you might encounter along the line.
Stay focus, be patient, be consistent and never give
up. No manner of frustration will ever drive you into failure.

Failure to look inwards can slow you down
It baffles me whenever youths of today say they are jobless. When
there are lots of fallowing opportunities around them that they can
convert to naira. They often complain that they do not have the needed
resources to stand on their feet, most especially capital!
I let them know that what is slowing them down is not what they don't have but what they have and are not using. And everybody has something he can convert into a money spinner over time. It could be a talent, a skill, a knowledge, an idea, a proposal etc. Sometimes it could be the most absurd things like an abandon machine or tool in your compound, used clothes and shoes, kitchen equipment and utensils, computers and television set etc.
Search yourself and discover these things. They are lying fallow and begging you to turn your attention to them. Start an adventure with these things and take a risk on them. Remember, the worst risk in life is you not taking a risk! Don't expect that exploring these things would make you a millionaire overnight. It is a gradual process. Be consistent and don't give up!
For those youths that fancy working for others. Distinguish yourself by adding value to yourself. Enroll for skills acquisition programs, get certified by professional bodies like Microsoft, Cisco, ICAN, NIM etc. Then develop yourself to a level whereby you can provide solutions to specific problems. Before you know it, employers would be looking for you.

Why inverters cannot replace generators
Inverters are great sources of electricity supply. Most especially in a
country like ours where the Power sector is in comatose. Despite the
awareness created by most inverter companies about the advantages of
having an inverter, most Nigerians still prefer a generator set to an inverter. The reasons for this are not far fetched.
Firstly, inverters are very expensive. A Generator of the same capacity is three times cheaper.
Secondly, inverters are very cumbersome to install and requires the professional hands of an expert. This discourages many a people from acquiring one.
Thirdly, an inverter cannot run on standalone. Users of inverters still require a generator set of higher capacity or electricity supply for the purpose of charging its batteries. So, owning an inverter is seen as double expenses by most people.
Lastly, the cost of maintenance in times of breakdown can be very exorbitant. Most especially battery replacement can be very capital intensive.
