Considerations before starting a blog
Never start a blog if you know you are not really
prepared to keep the blog awake and alive through continuous publishing of
rich, informative, educative and entertaining contents. Before starting a blog,
you must have a clear picture of what you intend to achieve with the blog.
Spring into action and start one only when you discover an opening that needs to
be closed or a vacuum that needs to be filled. However, a firm knowledge,
understanding and passion is required on whatever niche you intend to use to
close the opening or fill the vacuum. Never enter a niche based on someone else’s
success in that niche. Finding yourself in an unfamiliar niche would eventually
lead to inconsistency until you get stock and can no longer proceed in
publishing contents related to the niche. Or, worst of all, you find yourself
going into similar niche sites to copy related contents.
When this happens, you can qualify yourself as
slumbering. And when you slumber, your blog slumbers. The consequence of this
is that it hits back on whatever traffic you have been able to attract to the
blog. Your traffic starts declining gradually until it is nothing to write home
about.
The success of any site has to do with the number of
traffic it can attract. A lot of hard work and effort is also required before a
considerable amount of traffic starts rolling in. This is the more reason why
you must choose a niche you are conversant with and can create powerful contents
around with ease. Your passion for the niche also helps surmount whatever
challenges you might encounter along the line.
Stay focus, be patient, be consistent and never give
up. No manner of frustration will ever drive you into failure.

Solution to counterfeit ICT products
Counterfeiting has become a gigantic societal menace that
has become very worrisome to many concerned individuals and organizations. Something has to be done
urgently to save the situation. Nigerians no longer enjoy real value for their
money. It has become so difficult to distinguish between original and fake
products in the market.
Even marketers are not helping matters. They are just
interested in making money whether the customers are satisfied or not, it is
none of their business. They will even proclaim the counterfeit products as
original just to make money.
This is the reason why some ICT companies are going the
extra miles to protect their integrity by introducing anti-counterfeiting
solution which detects the fake of their products on the spot. HP for instance has
introduced mobile authentication service which detects fake HP products at the
point of purchase.
Mobile Authentication gives an instant verification of
original HP inks, cartridges and toners. It simply scans the QR code on the
security label and quickly cross check if it is available on the HP website
database. Non availability of the QR
code indicates that the product is fake.
