Don't be brain washed by what people say about blogging

People have a wrong perception about blogging. They think blogging is a get rich quick scheme. Thus they concentrate their thoughts on the glamour that comes with blogging forgetting that a lot of hard work needed to be done to attain this status. They preoccupy their minds with earning six figures income, becoming famous and traveling around the world.  No matter how serious you may be, you become demoralized and demotivated when your thoughts finally proves you wrong and only option left is to exit blogging feeling very disappointed.

Don’t be deceived or brain washed by people who tell you when you start a blog, you automatically start earning six figures. It doesn’t work like that! Blogging requires persistent and consistent effort to win the hearts of people and convert them to permanent audience. This you can achieve only when your blog is regarded as a solution provider and pleasure point.

Therefore, concentrate your thoughts on how to help people solve their problems or feel better with your blog. A lot of hard work is involved, though. But in no time people start regarding you as an authority in what you do, build trust and confidence in you and then making money blogging becomes a seemingly possibility.

Bringing back the lost glory of Nissan Bluebird car

All seems to have been forgotten about the brand of car called Nissan Bluebird. This is one car that made name for Nissan automobile because it was well known for its ruggedness and durability.

In those days when people talk about Toyota corolla, the next car that readily comes to mind was Nissan Bluebird. They were rivals in all ramifications. Today, we know what Toyota corolla looks like. It has undergone several modifications to become one of Toyota’s pride of car. Same cannot be said about Nissan Bluebird.

For close to 2 decades now, am yet to see a new model of this car. The last manufactured model of this car was in 1996/97. This particular model can still be seen on the road today. In fact, I know of somebody who used the 1986/87 model of this car for close to 20 years After laying aside this very car, he still went ahead to buy the 1996/97 model of this very car and he is still using it till date. That shows how rugged and durable this car is.

All other brands of Nissan cars have undergone modifications year in year out. Brands like Nissan Altima, Primera, Almera, Pathfinder, Xterra, frontier, etc all have their new models plying the roads. Where then is Nissan bluebird new model? We yearn to see a new model of this car being produced. Nissan automobile please take note!

Adsense is so stressful!

Displaying Google ads on a site or blog is not a sure deal to riches. So, why is Google so strict with approving sites or blogs into the Adsense program? Even those sites or blogs already accommodated into the Google ad network are being guided by stringent policies that could sometimes be violated unknowingly. To get Adsense approval is tough but to make money with Adsense is even tougher. Even after approving your site or blog, they continue to display blank ads for close to two months. All in the bead to frustrate you. Therefore, what is the essence of being so severe with alleged violators of Adsense policies to the extent of disabling their account without warning, not even a suspension is given for start. Just outright blocking! To add salt to injury, when blocked, no concrete reason is given of your offense. That is simply an abuse of fundamental human right! Punishing somebody without telling him his offense. Sometimes, site or blog owners are completely innocent of the offense.
The greatest frustration of all is that Adsense is once in a life time participation. Thus, when you lose it, you cannot get it anymore i.e when ban, it is for life. Not even an appeal can remedy the situation.
Being ban from the Adsense program is not the end of the world. Never let Google's frustration deprive you of what you intend to achieve with your site or blog. Stay focused and continue to thrive your site or blog. Many have grown their site or blog to success without Adsense. You too can.So, remain focused!

Are we in Military regime or Democracy?

It is as though we are in a military regime. The present state of the nation reminds me of those horrible days of military regime where there was no single welfare package for the people. Poverty, hunger and suffering reigned supreme. The country is gradually returning to this status with the way things are going now. The middle class is gradually being eroded. What would be left of the society in no time is a class of extremely low(poor) and extremely high(rich).
When Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999, it brought back the middle class that had been missing in the link for a while. Democracy converted many poor Nigerians into average Nigerians. Civil servants, small and medium scale business owners, private sector workers all had the opportunity of owning a house and buying a car. They could afford to pay their bills, observe three square meals a day as well as send their children to decent schools. All these are dying gradually. Today, I have witness the change of fortune of many average Nigerians into the poor class where they can no longer afford to pay their bills.
Many who had decent jobs had lost their jobs. Statistics showed that over 4 million jobs had been lost in the last 8 months. Crime rate is on the increase. Even long forgotten crimes like petty stealing, house burglar, car vandalism e.t.c are gradually rearing their ugly head in the society and are on the increase. Recently, it was in the news that a boy was burnt to death for stealing garri. Can you imagine? This was a clear case of hunger! Quite a pathetic story which led me into a state of sober reflection.
