Careers that are money spinners now

Gone are the days when parents restrict or discourage their children from venturing into certain professions or careers such as playing football, music or even acting. These professions have become one of the greatest money spinners in the world today. They have overtaken the likes of medicine, engineering or even law in terms revenue in flow. Today, you hear that a certain footballer or musician is worth so-so and so million pounds or dollars. Same cannot be said of a doctor, lawyer or even engineer.
In those days when parents catch their children playing football or moving with a musical group, they are in for it. This is changing now. Parents are now re-orientating themselves that the world has changed a great deal and professions they regarded as for drop out in past are now the money spinners and you could combine these professions together with going to school.
Parents even now pay for studio sessions for the children’s song recording. Encouragement you say! Acting, football and musical academy are spring up all over, teaching these acts as well as formal education.

What made Chinese thick?

The difference between a Chinese man and a Nigerian is that the Chinese man is always ready to work. He doesn't give a damn what people think of him. He is not ashamed to carry out his work in the presence of an admired lady no matter how low profiled the work is. Tell me, how would such a people not progress in the long run? But in Nigeria, everybody is forming levels. Levels that is not taking us anywhere. Everybody living false life. In order to meet up with our false lifestyle, we delve into things we shouldn't. Tell me, for how long can we continue like this?
20 years ago, if they told us that the Chinese would be major players in projects handling in Nigeria, we would have argued. Chinese? No, no, that is impossible! It is happening before our very eyes. The Chinese are everywhere in the country now, running things. No thanks to the poor economic situation and fallen standards of the country.
Government can no longer afford to award projects/contracts to renowned first class companies of the world to handle anymore. Like government, like people. Even Nigerians have no choice too. We are all customers to Chinese products in one way or the other. No matter how we try to resist Chinese products, it just finds its way into our lives somehow because of its strong market presence. Be it in clothes, fashion accessories, shoes, electronics, phones etc, Chinese products are dominating the market. If not for China what would have become of Nigeria and Nigerians? China has really saved us from high cost of living and hardship. So, let us give them kudos. Some Chinese areas of interest in Nigeria are:

5. Construction

The dangers of online investments

MMM Nigeria is still alive and exploring a second opportunity in Nigeria, But would people trust them whole heartedly and put in all their monies like they did before?  Would people whose accounts were frozen get their money back? 'Once beaten twice shy', they say! Many people invested millions of naira into MMM because of the confidence and trust they had in the financial scheme. It was a cool means of earning residual or passive income. But MMM Nigeria crashed after all the noise that nothing can ever happen to it.

This brings us to the issue of security of investments online. A lot of people are scared of investing online because most times, online businesses involve dealing with people you barely know and have their contacts. Therefore, the risk involved is quite high because if anything happens, there is nobody to hold responsible.  Yes, the worst risk in life is you not taking a risk. Many have built their business empire around online investments while some are still licking their wounds for badly investing online which made them bankrupt.

Can 3rd party ads effectively monetize a site?

If yes, then why are sites displaying ads stock? No single earnings coming from the ads even with the huge number of people that visit the sites regularly. It seems visitors are now aware that by clicking on ads, they make money for the site owners, so they avoid it as much as possible. They only get whatever information they needed from the site and get out.

That is not fair, visitors should be aware that preparing this information takes a lot of time, hard work and effort. Therefore, site owners need motivation and encouragement to do more. The only way they can be motivated and encouraged is when they are able to make something from their effort at the end of the day.

Or, what of if all publishers now place subscription fee on their sites? Am sure you wouldn’t want that to happen. You still like to get information free of charge from the net, right? Then, help the publishers to help you too.

Resist copyright iinfringement

This is one mistake I see many newbie bloggers make. Mind you, your blog cannot go far if you continue to indulge in copyright activities. Only lazy bloggers indulge in copyright activities. Try as much as possible to be original in your contents. It helps you standout from the crowd.  Yes, news or information are not meant for just one person. Therefore, if you must post the same news or information that can found in another blogger's blog or on other websites you must ensure that you are presenting it strictly in your own words. No verbative copying, please!
Blogs that indulge in copy write activities find it very difficult getting approval from adsense and other 3rd party ad networks because copyright infringement is strictly against their policy.
So, therefore, make that effort to be original in your contents. Never follow the crowd. Go into that niche you have firm knowledge about and create powerful contents around it with ease. You are happier and more fulfilled when your posts are purely your handwork.

Adsense is not a sure deal

Displaying Google ads on a site or blog is not a sure deal to riches. So, why is Google so strict with approving sites or blogs into the Adsense program? As if an approval would make them instant millionaire. Not at all! Enough work still has to be done to make sense out of Adsense. For sure you must be on top of your game to make anything meaningful out of Adsense.  Even those sites or blogs already accommodated into the Google ad network are being guided by stringent policies that could sometimes be violated unknowingly. To get Adsense approval is tough but to make money with Adsense is even tougher. Even after approving your site or blog, they continue to display blank ads for close to two months. All in the bead to frustrate you. Therefore, what is the essence of being so severe with alleged violators of Adsense policies to the extent of disabling their account without warning, not even a suspension is given for start. Just outright blocking! To add salt to injury, when blocked, no concrete reason is given of your offense. That's is not fair and infact an abuse of fundamental human right! Punishing somebody without telling him his offense. Sometimes, site or blog owners are completely innocent of the offense.
The greatest frustration of all is that Adsense is once in a life time participation. Thus, when you lose it, you cannot get it anymore i.e when ban, it is for life. Not even an appeal can remedy the situation.
Being ban from the Adsense program is not the end of the world. Never let Google's frustration deprive you of what you intend to achieve with your site or blog. Stay focused and continue to thrive your site or blog. Many have grown their site or blog to success without Adsense. You too can.So, remain focused!
