What you should know about affiliate marketing

What is Affiliate marketing? Affiliate marketing is simply referring people to check out particular products and when they make purchases as a result of your referrals, you earn commissions on the products.
Many people are interested in Affiliate promotions but do not know how to go about it. Here are the fundamentals of becoming a seasoned Affiliate marketer.
1. Set up your blog/website and identify with a niche you are very passionate about. Setting up a blog takes nothing because there are several free hosting domains such as blogger, wordpress, joomla, drupal e.t.c to get started with. But to be more professional, purchasing a hosted domain isn't a bad idea.

2. Register with an Affiliate program. There are quite a number of them like Amazon, Ebay, Commission junction, Clickbank, Shareasale, Ejunkie e.t.c as foreign Affiliate programs and Jumia, Konga, Dealdey, Kaymu, Jiji e.t.c as Nigerian Affiliate programs.

3. Select your referral products. Mind you, products must be related to your blog/website niche.

4. Generate banners or link codes for the products and paste it on your blog/website life page.

5. Make reviews of the products on your blog/website. Give a concise description of the products,
advantages of purchasing and using the products, testimonies of your very self using the product as well as your relationship with the companies of manufacture. That gives would be buyers the confidence to check out the products by clicking on the banners or links.

6. Continue to promote your reviews of the products on social media network platforms like facebook, twitter, linkedin, instagram, tagged e.t.c to attract buyers until you make sales. Most times, potential customers you meet on social media networks do not know what to do. So, you have to tell them what to do. Therefore, your product review must carry affiliate links like: click here to buy, buy now etc.

7. Earn commissions whenever sales are made on the products when quality visitors are referred to the products through the banners or links. Commissions are strictly base on purchases made on the products by the visitors.
It is worth noting that success with Affiliate marketing depends on the choice of products for referrals and the amount of compensations the companies are willing to pay as commissions. So always select products with high market demands from companies with good Affiliate marketing track record partnership.

Why CDMA technology failed to thrive in Nigeria

Telecommunications ecosystem in Nigeria is dominated largely by two parallel operating network technologies. They are the Global system for mobile communications, otherwise known as G.S.M communications and the Code Division Multiple Access communications, otherwise known as CDMA communications. In comparison, it is obvious that G.S.M communications is thriving better than CDMA communications in Nigeria.Take for instance Etisalat that came into the Nigerian market a bit late had been able to find its feet. It has been able to find and attract it own loyal customers with its unique promos and offers. Of recent it launched its easy flex promo whereby subscribers get up to 300% bonus plus a specified amount of data on all recharges from N300.00 and above. Offers like this has really helped the network to gain grounds and thrive.

However, the success of the GSM network can be attributed to their ability to cover vast areas within a short time while CDMA operators lack the capacity of widespread presence and this affects their stability and threatens their existence. The longer the distance  a telecommunications signal can travel is the larger the users it can attract and the more the income it can generate. Most CDMA operators in Nigeria have fewer than a hundred telecommunications mast installations which is barely enough to circulate round. Consequently, their subscribers line is so thin and income generated so tiny when compared with expenses on maintenance, advertisement salaries e.t.c. No company can thrive in this condition.

Even Visafone communications, a network that stole the heart of many Nigerians, consistently receiving laudable commendations for its effort to  keep the CDMA flame burning and competing favorably with its G.S.M counterpart suddenly threw in the towel to the surprise of everybody. Now Visafone is a property of a successful G.S.M operator which further confirms that G.S.M operators are thriving better.

Starcomms on the other hand was so determined to succeed when it came into Nigeria. But along the line, faced severe business challenges that led to a reduction of its network coverage areas. Consequently, this affected their service delivery and they lost a lot of customers in the process which led their down fall. Today, starcomms is struggling to record up to a million subscribers line.

Multilinks from inception has never been comfortable with doing business in Nigeria. They never hestitated to complain how expensive doing business in Nigeria was and how low their profit margin had been. They always recall their struggles for survival in this harsh Nigerian business arena. On several occasions they had threatened to quit the country.

Now, it is obvious that the Nigerian business terrain is a harsh and thorny one that calls for only survival of the fittest. Its is based strictly on when the going gets though only the tougher gets going.  With all that has been analyzed, it is glaring that CDMA technology is dying gradually in Nigeria and in few years to come would fizzle out completely.

Wireless security

Wireless security has evolved over time. Originally wireless security started with pre-shared key WEP. WEP is a very weak network and hackers can easily break into its encryption. Pre-shared keys is a system of security where you type in a key on the wireless access point and other users also have to type in that same key in order to gain access to the wireless network. From WEP wireless security evolved to:
Evolution 1: Pre-shared key WPA: The first evolution into pre-shared was the WPA security which was referred to as WPA 1. WPA 1 was like an interim solution that improved on the WEP security. It has a lot more better encryption system called TKIP.
Then Evolution 2: WPA 1 and 802.1x authentication: It was an improvement on WPA 1 security. It uses username and password for encryption.
Finally Evolution 3: WPA 2 802.11i and 802.1x authentication: It became a standard that was widely supported and accepted by all. It uses AES encryption style. To use WPA 2 you must buy the required hardware that enables access to WPA 2 security domain.

The pillars of education

Of the many factors essential to a nation’s chances for development, education is one of the most important. A saying has it that “The rise or fall of a nation is the doing of its people”. In other words, the deciding factor is, in most cases the people rather than outside forces (like, say, a foreign invasion in the case of a nation’s fall).
We can go on from that to say that the quality of the people depends on whether they have a “good” education or a “bad” one.
I see education as three – pillared: Moral, Intellectual and Physical. A good education should consist of moral training. Students should be taught morality and good sense to enable them live successfully as individual humanbeings and as members of society. It should also include intellectual training not only to impart information but to develop the power of thinking. Thirdly, it should be rounded out with physical education to build healthy bodies.
A good balance of the three is important. But in compulsory education the focus should be on moral training for it is this that makes us human. Moral education, then, is human education. Through moral education, people are equipped with manners befitting human persons and members of society.
Only when intellectual and physical education are built on this “human” foundation are they able to be made full use of. They are simply a minus to society if they are used wrongly – no matter how much knowledge or physical strength a person may have.

Why generators are irreplaceable

Inverters are great sources of electricity supply. Most especially in a country like ours where the Power sector is in comatose. Despite the awareness created by most Inverter companies about the advantages of having an Inverter, most Nigerians still prefer a Generator set to an Inverter. The reasons for this are not far fetched.

Firstly, Inverters are very expensive. A Generator of the same capacity is three times cheaper.

Secondly, Inverters are very cumbersome to install and requires the professional hands of an expert. This discourages many a people from acquiring one.

Thirdly, an Inverter cannot run on standalone. Users of Inverters still require a Generator set of higher capacity or electricity supply for the purpose of charging its batteries. So, owning an Inverter is seen as double expenses by most people.

Lastly, the cost of maintenance in times of breakdown can be very exorbitant. Most especially battery replacement can be very capital intensive.

Why many can't stay in Lagos

Whenever strangers from within the country visit Lagos, immediately they see a society that is enveloped by the darkness. Everything they experience, observe and see seems to be upside down and chaotic. They lament, how could human beings adapt to such a life of hell without any out roar of being fed up? Just like the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti would say, “suffering and smiling.” That is the best description for the life in Lagos.
If fellow Nigerians from other states could feel this way about Lagos, then how much more strangers from outside the country. They would feel like running back after experiencing just a day in Lagos. This is one key reason preventing investors from coming into the country. Lagos is the first point of call to any investor willing to invest in the country. Nobody would want to invest in a society that is not working, upside down and chaotic. Civilization is so far away from Lagos. But to Lagosians, in fact, they are the most civilized people in the world; every other person is uncivilized. Just like a mad man who feels he is sane and everybody around him is insane. Lagosians do the wrong things in place of the right things. And when they see you trying to do the right thing, they think you are abnormal. They would even rein abuses on you saying, “don’t you know that this is Lagos?” You are not sharp; you are not smart etc; Just because you are trying to do the right thing. The story of many visitors in Lagos has been, ‘if you cannot beat them, then join them.’ So, within few days a visitor in Lagos has adapted to this life of hell and already behaving like other Lagosians.
Bookmakers describe Lagos as the second worst city to live in the world. Why would it not be; with all the uncivilized activities putting the state among the blacklisted cities of the world? Activities such as:
·         Smuggling of contraband commodities such as rice, vegetable oil, frozen turkey and chicken.
·         Begging and street hawking in every nook and cranny of the city.
·         Bribery and corruption experienced by transporters in the hands of Police, Road safety and Agberos.
.    Bus conductors hanging by the door instead of reserving a seat for himself
·         Lawlessness
·         Pollution from noise, vehicle exhaust, generators and company machinery.
·         Breaking of traffic rules by motorists.
·         Massive traffic jam everywhere in the state.
·         Armed robbery, kidnapping, ritual killings, scamming, drug trafficking, child trafficking by residence.
·         Bad roads and poor drainages leading to flooding whenever it rains.
·         Erratic power supply
·         Congestion, confusion and disorderliness. One can go on and on.
In a civilized state, all these shameful activities can never happen. Have we not seen the organization
and orderliness in other cities of the world. Why can't we borrow a leaf from them?
If we do not pay cognizance attention to these things and find a long lasting solution to them, then the so much talked about CHANGE would be a word said in the wind. Let us all CHANGE from within.
CHANGE begins with me!

How the propensity to remain connected can harm you

Mobile Phone addiction is fast becoming a gigantic societal menace. It accounts for the largest non drug addictions situations encountered in the society today.
Many youths today derive sole companionship from their mobile phones and affirm that with their mobile phones, they can never be bored. Thus, they shy away from physical relationships and contacts with family and friends. They are always engaged in one thing or the other with their mobile phones throughout the day. Chatting, watching videos, listen to music, gaming, surfing social media networks, phone calls, sending sms e.t.c are but a few activities they engage in with their mobile phones which is gradually becoming propensities.
Even though big players in the mobile phone industry deny the fact that mobile phones emits harmful electromagnetic radiations, researches have confirmed that prolonged use of mobile phones poses severe health threat to the user.
Health conditions such as brain tumors, genetic damage, headaches, earaches, blurred vision, sleep disorders e.t.c may  arise as a result of prolonged contact with mobile phones. Experts advice that to reduce the risk of mobile phones health hazard, prolonged use of phones either for calls or browsing should be discouraged, sleeping with mobile phones under the pillows or close to any of your body parts should be avoided, placing phones in breast pockets should be prohibited.
These precautionary measures should be adhere to strictly by every phone user because some of the aforementioned health  conditions could lead to acute situations such as blindness, cancer, deafness and even instant death in some cases.
The propensity to remain connected to world 24/7, 365 days should be minimized by all and sundry, so that we do not find ourselves in the condition popular referred to as medical one chance.

I Never Knew

Recently, my new blog was suspended by adsense TOS for 30days for policy violation. I never knew adsense could be so fair just to give only a suspension for policy violation. Why? Two of my previous blogs got outright ban from further participation in the adsense program for policy violation. As far as adsense is concerned, as a publisher you need them, they don’t need you. Therefore, they can do with you whatever pleases them.
During the period of suspension, I could log into my adsense account but ad serving was disabled from my blog. Also, they collected all the money earned and refunded it back to affected advertisers as they claimed.
Ad serving was reinstated to my blog on the very day the suspension expired without delay. Kudos to them! They vowed to monitor my account closely and would not hesistate to disable ad serving permanently if they notice any further invalid activities on my adsense account.

Things to note when choosing a niche for your blog

A lot of bloggers or would be bloggers make that mistake of referencing the successes recorded by other bloggers in a particular niche when trying to choose a niche for their blog. Forgetting the fact that what works for one person does not necessarily mean it will work for you or all. Thus, they go into a niche they have little or no knowledge about, just because they want to be like that person. Many a newbie bloggers even go into a niche because they heard that the niche is profitable. Along the line, they get stocked, entangled and nobody heard of their blog.
To be a successful blogger, you must be yourself. Search yourself deeply and identify what you are passionate about, naturally good at and have deep knowledge about. This is what keeps you going when the going gets tough. Never follow the crowd. Everybody has one thing or the other he is knowledgeable about. Blog about those things!
Being passionate about your niche helps you worry less about traffic or whether people are viewing your posts or not. It brings out the originality in you, it builds your confidence, aids consistency and makes blogging a less stressful career to handle. And before you know it, people start seeing you as an authority in that niche. This would invariably open doors for you, shooting you into lime light.

Why most bloggers do not win

Yes, it is that bad because people perceive blogging wrongly. They think blogging is a get rich quick scheme. Thus they concentrate their thoughts on the glamour that comes with blogging forgetting that a lot of hard work needed to be done to attain this status. They preoccupy their minds with earning six figures income, becoming famous and traveling around the world.  No matter how serious you may be, you become demoralized and demotivated when your thoughts finally proves you wrong and only option left is to exit blogging feeling very disappointed.
Don’t be deceived or brain washed by people who tell you when you start a blog, you automatically start earning six figures. It doesn’t work like that! Blogging requires persistent and consistent effort to win the hearts of people and convert them to permanent audience. This you can achieve only when your blog is regarded as a solution provider and pleasure point.
Therefore, concentrate your thoughts on how to help people solve their problems or feel better with your blog. A lot of hard work is involved, though. But in no time people start regarding you as an authority in what you do, build trust and confidence in you and then making money blogging becomes a seemingly possibility.

Various flaws of other ad serving networks

Google adsense will remain the best ad serving network for a very very long time. This is a statement of fact because there are no strong rivals yet. All other ad networks are still learning and are yet to perfect their website. No wonder adsense carries its shoulders so high like a peacock. But why won’t they? When they are so efficient. When they say it, they do it. And at the stipulated time. Without delays. No plus no minus. I am yet to experience such with other ad networks. I have tried many of them but yet to find a very good substitute for adsense. Is it infolinks, adpushup, clicksor, outbrain, ayboll or dochase, adgenta, propellerads, B4psads, nuffnang or media.net? They all have one flaw or the other.
Some of the shortcomings and incompetence I have experienced in my course of using some of these ad networks include:
1. Low quality ads: B4psads, clicksor please take note.
2. Limited advertisers: Clicksor, infolinks, dochase and in fact almost all others have this challenge. Imagine, infolinks had only facebook as their advertiser for an extended period of time. Clicksor had only two advertisers for a very long time. Likewise dochase.
3. Inactive codes: This is about the most annoying aspect. No ads are displayed after placing some these ad networks codes on your site. Dochase, propellerads should do something about this as a matter of urgency.
4. Malicious codes: Placing ad codes of some of these ad networks can cause malfunctioning of your website. My sites have been blocked by Google because of malicious codes. This can cause traffic on the site to take a down turn because it would always appear as a deceptive site to users. Clicksor please take note.
5. Inefficiency: Ad network like adpushup would schedule a call with at a particular time you and fail to call.
6. Failure of clicks to convert to earnings: Dochase, infolinks please take note.
7. Disapproval of subdomain sites: Media.net would never accept a subdomain site into its network. They be aware that not all would be site owners have the capital to purchase a domain. Some prefer to start with a subdomain and eventually by a domain as the site progresses.
8. Minimum traffic requirement: some inconsiderate ad networks demand for minimum traffic before accommodating your site into their program. Some even demand for a minimum of 50,000 visitors before approval. Kudos to those ad networks that do not require minimum traffic. Outbrain please be aware.

If not for China!

The difference between a Chinese man and a Nigerian is that a Chinese man is always ready to work. He doesn't give a damn what people think of him. He is not ashamed to carry out his work in the presence of an admired lady no matter how low profiled the work is. Tell me, how would such a people not progress in the long run? But in Nigeria, everybody is forming levels. Levels that is not taking us anywhere. Everybody living false life. In order to meet up with our false lifestyle, we delve into things we shouldn't. Tell me, for how long can we continue like this?
20 years ago, if they told us that the Chinese would be major players in projects handling in Nigeria, we would have argued. Chinese? No, no, that is impossible! It is happening before our very eyes. The Chinese are everywhere in the country now, running things. No thanks to the poor economic situation and fallen standards of the country.
Government can no longer afford to award projects/contracts to renowned first class companies of the world to handle anymore. Like government, like people. Even Nigerians have no choice too. We are all customers to Chinese products in one way or the other. No matter how we try to resist Chinese products, it just finds its way into our lives somehow because of its strong market presence. Be it in clothes, fashion accessories, shoes, electronics, phones etc, Chinese products are dominating the market. If not for China what would have become of Nigeria and Nigerians? China has really saved us from high cost of living and hardship. So, let us give them kudos. Some Chinese areas of interest in Nigeria are:
1. Oil and Gas

2. Telecommunications

3. Transportation

4. Power (Electricity)

5. Construction

Front liners of information technology

The Information technology industry encompasses a broad spectrum of products and services that has made tremendous impact on the human race, thus, making the world a better place. Information technology has aided the development of a wide range of products and services that has revolutionize the world. Many of these products and services have become part and parcel of human existence that we wonder what would have become of the world today, were it not for information technology. The world is a global village today because of information technology. Just as the saying goes, "if you are not informed then you will be deformed". That means, the advent of information technology has averted an impending chronic deformity that the human race would have suffered if the likes of Abacus, Bill gates, Jon Ponstel, Steve Jobs e.t.c had not worked tirelessly to make information technology what it is today. Many human endeavors that would have taken years of rigorous work to achieve can be accomplished within a twinkle of an eye with the help of information technology.
The advent of information technology also presented opportunities for many companies to come into lime light. With these companies having the choice to tap into the various aspects of information technology such as software development, hardware production, telecommunications services, website development, management and coding e.t.c. The beautiful thing about these various aspects of information technology is that they are interwoven. The software needs the hardware to function and vice-versa. Also, the software and the hardware needs to communicate to give rise to products, services or functionality that benefits the end user.
However, taking time out to identify with some these companies that have really really distinguished themselves in their self chosen aspects of information technology. For instance in the software development domain, companies like:
Microsoft
Apple
Oracle
Android from Google
Fire fox e.t.c  have really really distinguish themselves
In Hardware productions, companies like:
Dell
HP
Nokia
Samsung
LG
RIM
Toshiba
Lenovo
Itel
Huawei
Apple e.t.c have made good names for themselves.
Also, in Website development, management and coding, firms like:
Google
Facebook
Yahoo
Twitter
Bing e.t.c have built good reputation for themselves over the years
Likewise in telecomunications services, companies like:
Orange
MTN
Airtel
Etisalat
Areeba e.t.c have  carved out a niche for themselves.
In phone applications, companies like:
Whatapps
instagram etc are doing great

What telecoms operators lose to vandals yearly

According to Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, "Vandalism is the crime of deliberately damaging things, especially public property. Though the dictionary defines Vandalism as a deliberate act, it can also be rightly said that Vandalism can be an in-deliberate act as we would realize in the course of this article.
Vandalism of telecoms installations has become a frequent occurrence in the nation today and this is very disheartening. Vandalism of telecoms infrastructure can be a deliberate or in-deliberate act as the case may be.
Deliberate Vandalism of telecoms equipment is most at times as a result of hoodlum's activities in the area. This is very rampant in the North eastern part of the country where the Boko Haram insurgency thrives. A lot of Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) had been vandalized or more rightly put, destroyed due to terrorist activities in these areas. This has led to unavoidable communications hitches such drop calls, no network coverage e.t.c. in these locations. Telecoms companies wallow in pains as they count their losses whenever their equipment are destroyed by terrorist.
Telecoms operators lose millions of naira to Vandal's activities which affects the quality of service delivery and a lot of money is spent to resuscitate damaged equipment.
About N24,750,000 is expended during the installation of a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) together with its towers, special antennas and two generators to power the station. So whenever a Base Transceiver Station  (BTS) is destroyed, it can be imagined what the telecoms company has lost.
In-deliberate Vandalism on the other hand occurs as a result of construction work around areas where  telecoms installations are present. A very good example is during the construction of roads in areas where fibre optic cables are laid. This can lead to cable cut resulting in telecommunications breakdown.
It is on record that an average of 70 fibre optic cables are cut on  a monthly bases due to construction work across Nigeria.
MTN in particular said due to fibre optic cable cut, it had lost of network signal in about 1000 base station across the country recently.
Therefore telecoms companies are appealing to the general public to be vigilante and report any suspicious activities around telecoms installations.

How to deal with unsolicited texts and calls

It has become worrisome the rate, way and manner at which unsolicited text messages are sent by telecoms operators in the country. Even at the dead end of the night, one cannot have his or her peace. In the middle of a sleep, a text message or call wakes you up only to discover that it is unsolicited as usual. This unsolicited disturbance sometimes robs you of your sleep for the rest of the night. Pathetic!
The contents of some of these unsolicited SMSes can be so annoying and irrelevant to you sometimes while other times it contains useful and up building information ranging from health, sports education, politics, romance, mutual benefit, promotions, bonuses, telecoms e.t.c. As for unsolicited calls, immediately it enters most people just hang up the phone.
A very disheartening aspect of these unsolicited text messages is the ability to use it to lure or scam unsuspecting innocent subscribers. Yes, unsolicited SMSes can be used to lure subscribers to opt-in for a service of which they continually deduct money daily or each time recharges are made. A very good example of this was sent to the mobile number 08099676006 and goes thus: 08099676006 , we have SMARTPHONES to give right now! Reply with OK to claim it. An ok to this message will automatically activate you for a service of which money will always be deducted on subsequent recharges made.
Also, unsolicited SMSes can be sent to scam subscribers. For instance, receiving a text message inviting you for a job interview or a congratulatory message indicating that you have won 1million naira from a lottery. A very good one going round recently is receiving a message notifying you that your ATM card has been deactivated, call a certain number for help. Subscribers who play along with such messages end up getting scammed
To stop this menace of unsolicited text messages, the Nigeria Communications Commision (NCC) had to intervene. Recently, it gave a directive to protect the right of the subscribers from unsolicited text messages. Subscribers now have the right to permit or bar any unsolicited SMSes from entering their mobile phones. This became possible when the NCC unveiled the ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ facility. All telecoms operators in the country are required to comply with this directive with immediate effect and activate this service on their platform. Subscribers can opt-in for this service irrespective of their network by sending ‘STOP’ to 2442.

Single Trade Window Portal

A unified trade window portal that can be accessed online via the URL 'www.trade.gov.ng' has been opened by the Federal government of Nigeria. This site will cater for all data entries of all revenue generation agencies and services of the government like the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration (NAFDAC),  Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) etc.
This site would checkmate lapses and loop holes in the current system. The Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) has begun test running this site with some of its Single Goods Declaration (SGD) and would switch all clearing processes to this portal as soon as it becomes fully operational. Direct Trade Input Cafes (DTI) are also already updating their knowledge in line with this new portal.  The ASY app powered by Webb Fontane that was earlier used for SGD entry is most likely to be scrapped because this site can effectively handle any entry that can processed by any of the ASY apps (modent modshd, modbrk etc).est running this site with some of its Single Goods Declaration (SGD) and would switch all clearing processes to this portal as soon as it becomes fully operational. Nigerian Telecos: Please pay attention to exorbitant data tariff

Despite the increasing number of Broadband operators in Nigeria, internet subscribers are still paying through their nose to access the internet in the country. In advanced countries like the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Japan e.t.c, internet service is readily available to all homes at cheap and affordable prices with various data plan ranging from limited to unlimited data usage.
This is not the case in Nigeria. Most internet service providers(ISPs)/Telecoms operators provide mainly limited internet data plan and those that offer unlimited data plans place the cost so high that it beyond the common man's reach. Those ISPs/Telecoms operators that still offer unlimited data plan placed their tariff on a very high side that it is barely affordable by the common man. The most hit by this policy are those that require heavy data usage for their jobs. They end up spending double or triple the amount they ought to have spent for internet service in a month. Why should an ISP/Telecoms operator sell usage cap rather than the period of usage? When you subscribe you are told that your data will last for a period of one month but after one or two weeks, the data is completely exhausted. To continue active internet proceedings, you must subscribe anew.
Downloads and updates have become luxuries you dear not venture into. Viewing and playing online videos and music on youtube or other sites have become a thing of the past in Nigeria. It is a well known fact that most recent applications and operating systems require constant updating for proper operation. What about antivirus softwares? Most installed antivirus softwares need constant updating in order to continue to protect the system from online attackers like virus, worms, trojans and malwares which might eventually cause severe damages to the Pc. Downloads we know is an inevitable process when online. Most packages and applications online require downloading before they can run or be used. You must think twice before you download in Nigeria. After downloading some of these software programs you might need to update them to enjoy there complete features.
People that do internet related businesses are not left out in this ordeal. Using limited internet data plan for a business is not profit oriented at all. Many internet related businesses have died because of lack of unlimited data plan.
We therefore call upon the Nigerian government and the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) to come to our aid and license an ISP/Telecoms operator that will provide fast, cheap and affordable unlimited internet service to all and sundry. We cannot continue like this any more.
Information, Educative books, Videos, Music, Pictures, Antivirus software, Applications all require heavy data in order to enjoy them. Excluding all these from the internet makes the internet not worth while and very boring.

Another raining season is here!

The raining season is gradually warming up. Flooding, ill health, thunder and lightning are integral parts of the season. People living in flood prone areas are advised to relocate before it is too late. The numbers of mosquitoes triple during the raining season. So, therefore, it is paramount to guard against the usual mosquito health havoc. This is the time to eradicate all mosquito breeding agents. This can be achieved by keeping our surrounds clean, cleaning all drainage and clearing the bushes around us.    Also, it is paramount to guard against thunder and lightning unforeseen destruction. Every home, office, school, business organization should endeavor to install appropriate lightning protection gadget that can withstand thunder strike which can cause damage to vital electrical appliances, result in electrocution and cause network failure that can disrupt smooth flow of business transactions.
This lightning protection gadget acts as a neutralizer which conducts lightning discharges to earth through a safe path to avoid damages, disperses the lightning current into the ground quickly and safely and avoid secondary effect lightning on the environment in the form of high voltages which can cause destruction of electrical appliances.
Although, lightning is a natural occurrence that we have no control over, therefore, precautionary measures can be taken to prevent it from causing severe havoc to lives and properties. Statistics has shown that more than 2000 people die across the world as a result of lightning attack while survivors are badly injured and suffer from a variety of lasting symptoms.
Therefore in order not to fall victim at this season to thunder strike, we must take the installation of this lightning protection gadget in our homes, offices, schools, organizations e.t.c, a priority.
