The Days of Generators are Numbered in Nigeria.

Just hundred days in office and electricity supply system in the country witnessed a turn around. So you mean we can actually enjoy steady supply of electricity in this country? There had been no epileptic supply of power since this new government was sworn in. Hmn! That got me thinking.
It is quite glaring that previous democratic governments paid lip service to the blackout condition of the nation. There effort to solve the problem were only on the pages of news papers. While they gave saboteurs  free hands to continue to hold the country to ransom.
Definitely, the alleged billions of naira expended in the power sector by previous governments was false. The power sector was one of the numerous avenues to loot the nation's treachery. Just ordinary body language of the new president and everybody is sitting right. It is no longer business as usual. The fear of their licenses being revoked has put wisdom into their heads. They now know where the problem lies and the solution to it. And past governments claimed that even if the entire budget of the nation was expended on power, it will never work.
It is only now that we can think of gathering our generators and sending it to other countries where it is needed. The rate at which we are going, I think the days of generators are numbered in this country. The use of generators............. so crude and abnormal. I wonder how strangers from advance countries look at us. Everybody generating their own electricity? Damn! Immediately they see a society that is not working. The health hazard the use of generators poses on us is unthinkable. Noise and air pollution has caused serve health conditions to many.
Now money expended on buying, fueling and maintenance of generators can be used for something else. What a huge relief for all of us! The presence of light overthrows the darkness. We have been in the dark all this while, courtesy our past leaders. Peoples eyes are open now that yes electricity supply can actually work in the country.
Industries and businesses that are power driven can thrive now and record a good profit margin. Dead companies are thinking of coming back to life. Investors are willing to come into the country to invest. A rapid boost in the nation's economy is noticed. Poverty and unemployment would soon be a thing of the past. These are but a few dividend of constant supply of electricity. A nation with constant and steady supply of electricity will surely become industrialized in a short while. That should be the target of every right thinking Nigeria. The government alone can't achieve this without our support. All hands must be on deck for the actualization of this vision.
Not forgetting individuals, companies and businesses that boomed during the dark days of total blackout in the country. I mean generator manufacturers, generator dealers, generator mechanics, filling stations e.t.c. Electricity supply opens doors for new and more profitable business opportunities. So those who are aggrieved(Yeah, some are actually aggrieved! They never wanted electricity to work out) by this new development in the country should start thinking of diversifying into something else.
