One good way to grow
and thrive our local mobile software industry in Nigeria is for renowned
multinational mobile manufacturing and software companies like Nokia, samsung,
LG, Blackberry e.t.c to give their support and extend a helping hand towards
them. This gives them a sense of belonging and the confidence that they have a
support on whose back they can ride.
Nokia in its capacity has done well in this regards in the
past. It embarked on an academy program aimed at accelarating major Nigerian
mobile software companies in growing their companies on regional and
international levels. Nokia had really done great supporting local talents to
develop their skills and grow their companies by integrating them into both
regional and global markes with a plan in place for providing future funding.
This solidarity will further enhance their capacity to
develop world class applications that meet the real needs of Nigerian
consumers.
