The importance of showrooms in telecommunications industry



Telecommunications is life! Therefore, everyone has the right to communicate and be communicated to. The telecommunications industry is dominated predominantly by the Global system for mobile (G.S.M) and the code division multiple access (CDMA) operators. One essential necessity that both parties agree is inevitable as far as telecommunications business growth is concerned is the creation of showrooms. Showrooms give the opportunity for customers and would be customers to come in contact with quality products and service the company has to offer. This could include phones, SIM cards, SIM swap, bill payment, airtime top up, query resolution and general enquiries.
Airtel  for instance has about 40 shows across the country. MTN can even boast of having the largest amount of showrooms in the country. Other telecoms operators yet to adopt showroom style of marketing have a long way to go.
