Renowned game publishing company 'Gameloft', has extended its tentacles to Africa's largest economy Nigeria, as it opens a new trade office in the country.
Gameloft which began operation in 2000 and made a presence in South Africa in 2012 has watched its income grow in Africa to about 536% within a short while.
As mobile operating systems (OS) gets more sophisticated with Android, Symbian and Windows operating systems (OS) at the forefront, Gameloft has continued and not relenting in its effort in rolling out scintillating mobile phone games compatible with these operating systems.
Gameloft is optimistic that its established presence in Nigeria would open new business doors and facilitate its interractions with existing and would be future local partners.
Gameloft is currently in partnership with major telecommunications operators in Africa like Etisalat, Orange, Vodafone, MTN, Safricom, Ooredoo and its games can be downloaded via these networks.
Other Africa countries that Gameloft is in business with other than Nigeria and South Africa include Ghana, Egypt, Cote de voire Morroco, Algeria e.t.c. Countries to follow suit are Ethiopia and Tanzania e.t.c.
Some popular games from the stable of Gameloft are Spider man, Gangster Vegas, Asphalt 8, Modern combat 5, (Blackout), Wild Blood, Dungeon Hunter 5, Green Farm, Assassin's creed e.t.c.
