Etisalat Rewards Hardwork

Etisalat continued interest in rewarding hardwork and excellence has been very appalling. Over the years, Etisalat had single handedly supported and sponsored three different categories of awards in science, arts and telecommunications.
Every year, Etisalat sponsors three best telecommunications students of the prestigious Ahamadu Bello University, Zaria to Dubai for further training in telecommunications. The whole idea behind this scholarship is to equip these young lads by exposing them to first class telecommunications training, so that when they return, they can put their wealth of experience and knowledge into practice thus moving the telecommunications industry forward. There will be no need to hire foreign expatriate anymore which can be very capital intensive.
Also, Etisalat rewards best mobile innovations yearly. Innovations ranging from mobile apps development, mobile phone accessories inventions to mobile devices operating system upgrade and improvement are usually considered.
The arts are not left out in Etisalat's reward for excellence and hardwork. Etisalat's prize for literature is an award sponsored by Etisalat to reward the best literary works of the year.
Two Nigerians have been shortlisted in the 2015 Etisalat prize for literature consisting of nine books chosen from 100 titles.
The books that made the long list are 'On the Bank of the River' written by Ifeoluwapo Adeniyi and 'The Fishermen' written by Chigozie Obioma. These books were described as containing first hand information about their subject matter that it would take extra effort by any novelist to give a closer description of the subject matter.
Etisalat prize for literature is the first of its kind in Africa, devouted solely to honour fiction writers of African background.
